The project
Fantasy managers lose weeks to decisions a specialist would settle in seconds. So: two specialists, James for basketball and Brady for football, plugged straight into the fantasy leagues so the help arrives with no friction.
What it took
James and Brady are in-house models, each fine-tuned on its own sport rather than one general model asked to cover both, plus constant monitoring of the news in football and basketball.
Add and drop pathways, weekly scheduling, injury alerts, emergency auto-add. And advice that understands categories: three steals that win a nine-category week, rather than thirty points in a week already lost.
The Challenge
Fine-tuning a model on human athletic performance is hard. The variance is enormous, the data is scarce and split across silos, and the inputs are noisy. A small error in how a statistic is read, how movement is interpreted, or what surrounds it turns into a bad call. In a game where one action decides a week, keeping the edge is the product.

Building the iOS and Android apps while the models are still being fine-tuned.
